Fold Twin

Turn one photo of your dog or cat into a paper model you print, cut and fold at home. The colours and markings from your photo are printed on the parts, the seams sit on plain fur where they can, and it stands on a base with their name.

How it works

  1. Upload one photo and pay £5. A clear photo of your pet, whole body in frame. Arvolve's ArX engine turns it into a textured 3D model.
  2. Download your model. The thanks page shows progress and gives you your pet's 3D model file when it is ready. It is yours to keep.
  3. Fold it here. Drop the file into the folding tool below. Add their name, pick the size and detail, check the likeness in 3D, and download a print-ready PDF.

The folding tool runs entirely in your browser. Your model file is never uploaded anywhere, and you can come back and fold it again at any size, for free.

Make your pet's model

One photo, one 3D model of your pet, ready to fold as many times as you like.

  • Use a clear, sharp photo of your pet sitting or standing, whole body in frame, side-on or three-quarter view.
  • Show the markings you care about. One photo cannot see the far side, so that side is filled in by the model. Favour the side with their best patches.
  • Plain background, good daylight, nothing in front of them.

JPEG, PNG or WebP. Large photos are resized in your browser before upload.

£5per pet

You will need a computer to make the printable pages. Ordering from a phone is fine: save the model file when it is ready, then open this page on a computer.

If the model cannot be made, your payment is refunded automatically. Your photo is sent to Arvolve only to make your model.

What you get

  • A print-ready PDF from the folding tool: textured parts, numbered glue edges, mountain and valley fold lines, an instruction page.
  • Seams on plain fur. Fold Twin reads the texture and cuts where the coat is plain, so the face and markings stay in one piece wherever it can.
  • A name-plate base with their name and dates, white or charcoal.
  • 8 to 20 cm tall, 60 to 200 faces, A4 or US Letter. Refold any time.
